SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION
POSTER TRAILERS:
No paper posters this year! Each accepted poster will be presented in 3 slides. Poster tours will be held in 4 stations, with a laptop and a projector. Presenters will have 3 minutes to talk and 2 minutes for questions. Please, avoid background/introduction slides and instead concentrate on your hypothesis and key results. We will try to group the posters according to the topic. Each slide should display the name of the presenter, centre and title of the work. Poster slides will continue to shown on a continuous loop during other parts of the the meeting / networking activities to facilitate discussion.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS:
10 minutes of talk and 2 minutes discussion.
LUNCH WITH THE PROFESSOR
Each lunch table will be assigned to a faculty member with a specific area of interest (e.g. JIA, SLE, JDM, Periodic Fevers, Scleroderma etc). YIs who want to network with the faculty member and other YI’s interested in the same area as them will have to register via web in advance.
YIM ABSTRACT AWARDS
YIM attendees will vote for the two best clinical and two basic science presentations. These will be awarded during the final lunch.
